Or at least win her favor, that is (whether she truly considers someone her friend or not is something that can only be revealed in a life or death situation). All it takes is some candy, money, or something shiny. Hotaru is extremely greedy, and material objects win her over easily. Once she considers someone her friend, she will become extremely playful with said person, and not to mention rather affectionate. It isn’t a rare sight to see Hotaru asking a friend for a hug.[/style] |

She hates authority, so anyone with any sort of control is an automatic no-go for her. Adults aren’t her favorite either, but it’s not impossible for an adult to become her friend. When someone is her enemy, she will constantly try to steal things from said person, if she’s ever around them. She will also make them a dummy for blowgun target practice. A good way to get on her bad side is to do anything condescending to her. This includes treating her like a child, and berating her fighting skills (or lack thereof).
