The Temple of The Phoenix was the only temple allowed to remain standing after the Sajagulian army invaded Yanwo. The temple is made from strong stone and is painted gold both outside and inside. An intricate system of pools is designed on the floor, streaming and coming together to form the shape of a phoenix in flight. There are many rooms veiled by curtains where people can go meditate and pray.

No New Posts THE BIRD BATHS

Along the walkways of Xanadu there are large fountains where birds and people alike can refresh themselves. The people of Yanwo do not believe that birds are dirty, and so they tend to wash their hands, faces, and feet in these fountains as the birds bathe in them. The fountains are constantly being wiped down, as it is thought cleaning the fountains for the birds will bring one good luck.
